03/10/2014 Overturned Truck
Called to a Semi Overturned on Clover St. in Hutsonville in front of Wabash Valley Heat & Gas. Driver was not hurt.
Christmas Lights on Station 1
Decorated the Station in 2013 first time in a long time.
Single Car MVA 10/22/2013
Driver swerved to miss a deer, over corrected, rolled several times, and came to rest back on wheels. Driver had no other people in the car and was transported to CMH by United Life Care Ambulance.
Road Wash-Out
Spring of 2013 brought us some flooding of the Wabash River. These photos are of a county road south of town that washed away. This is a good reason you should NOT drive through flooded roads. No one was hurt this time. However you never know when a road may fail that is under water.
Briggs (Old Pottery) Fire 06/12/2012
We were called to a Mutual Aid Run to the Old Briggs Pottery in Robinson, IL. Here are some photos from the inside and outside.
02/12/2011 Barn Fire
Dispatched to a Barn On Fire north of town, Hutsonville. No injuries were reported. Fire was put out quickly.

Dispatched to assist, United Life Care Ambulance, with an accident at the intersection of Pleasant and Clover.
Toys For Tots 2010
Every year around Christmas time we deliver toys to families that would other wise have no Christmas due to job loss or other hardship.
Fallen Brother Rick Poorman Funeral
On 10/14/2010 a funeral was held for a Fallen Brother Rick Poorman. He Was an EMT / Paramedic for many agencies.
Fire Prevention 2010
Every year we hold Fire Prevention classes for the Children at Hutsonville Grade School, grades Pre-K through 4th. We show them the equipment on the trucks, what a firefighter in full gear looks like, and take the children through the smoke house.
Fatal Accident 10/08/2010
We were dispatched for Mutual Aid to Clark County for a Fatal Accident involving a pick-up truck and a Clark County Ambulance. This is where we lost Paramedic Rick Poorman in a Line Of Duty Death. Driver of ambulance was banged up a bit and refused treament. Both occupents of the pick-up were extricated from their vehicle. Rick was in the rear compartment of the ambulance and was ejected. Paitent on the cot in the rear was loaded in another ambulance and taken to a hospital.
09/03/2010 MVA
Dispatched to assist United Life Care Ambulance with a single vehicle accident on Illinois State Route 1. Driver who was alone in the wreckage was transported to the Hospital.
River Fest 2010
Here are some photos of the "River Fest" we hold every year the first Saturday in August. We have a car show, fireworks, pancake and sausage breakfast, a parade and a beauty padgent, etc...
Training Fire 06/14/2010
We had a training fire in an old abandoned house. These photos are of when we let it burn all the way down.
Air Evac Training 2010
AirEvac Air Ambulance provided us with training on Landing Zones and what to watch for when landing them. Also learned there is a licensed Nurse on each flight along with a Paramedic and pilot. Thank you to Oblong Fire Department for providing this training exercise.
Apartment Fire 04/02/2010
Dispatched to a fire outside a building on South Main Street in Hutsonville. Upon arrival found a fire in a portion of the building that was being torn down. Fire had climbed up an outside wall and into an appartment above. Fire was put out quickly and no injuries were reported. Thank you to Lamotte Township Fire Department for your Mutual Aid.
02/15/2010 Attic Fire
On a snowy night we were dispatched on a Mutual Aid run to the Annapolis Area. Upon arrival Prairie Licking Township Fire Department had the fire knocked down and no one was injured in the battle.
01/01/2010 MVA
On the morning of New Years Day we were dispatched to a 2 vehicle accident at the West York Turn Off Road on Illinois State Highway 1.
